The one-year Postgraduate Programme 2024 in Head and Neck Surgery: Oncology is set to commence in March, providing advanced additional training for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in the diagnosis and management of head and neck tumors. The primary goal is to equip participants to deliver the highest quality care to patients with head and neck cancer.
This EACMFS Postgraduate Programme in Head and Neck Surgery: Oncology is tailored for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residents in their senior year of training or young specialists in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The EACMFS Postgraduate Programme includes:
– A live online course scheduled from March 26, 2023, to October 15, 2024, featuring six modules with one module planned each month, including two 3-hour webinars.
– A one-month clinical observership offering specialized experience in head and neck cancer treatment.
– A hands-on workshop with human anatomical specimens scheduled from October 22 to October 23, 2024, at the Center for Anatomy, Medical University of Vienna.
Upon successfully completing the Postgraduate Programme, participants will receive a PG Certificate from the EACMFS. Additionally, an application for accreditation of the online learning course and a hands-on workshop on human anatomical specimens will be submitted to UEMS EACCME® for CME accreditation for this event.
