Dear Colleagues,

It is a fact that we are living in a quite fruitful scientific period, with considerable advances in the medical field taking place rapidly on an international level. There is, therefore, a constant need not only to keep abreast of and develop new scientific approaches, but also to identify adequate and effective educational strategies for continuous training of the medical doctors in all specialties.
In this light, within the framework of its annual activity for ongoing delivery and dissemination of scientific knowledge, the Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic of the Nicosia General Hospital, with the support of Cyprus Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and under the auspices of European Association for Cranio Maxillo Facial Surgery has the pleasure to announce the organization of the 2nd Seminar of Maxillofacial Surgery on Frozen Cadaveric Specimens, to be held on January 26 – 27, 2019, in Nicosia, Cyprus (European University of Cyprus).
It is an important scientific event, that aims at promoting all contemporary topics related to Maxillofacial Surgery, with the participation of doctors, ENT, Plastic Surgeons and General Surgeons who present a keen academic and scientific interest in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
By means of presentations on various topics, discussion of our concerns and suggestions for their management, as well as through a session of surgical training on fresh frozen cadaveric specimens, the Seminar will endeavor to contribute in the best possible way to effective further elaboration of all scientific issues concerning Maxillofacial Surgery.
Bearing that in mind, I express my firm belief that this organization, other than constituting an excellent platform to discuss our scientific results and devise a common strategy of active participation and leadership in medicine, will attract the attention of the entire scientific community in our country.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in our Seminar and sincerely hope that you will join us to make this endeavor a success.
Best regards,
Dr George Pantelas
Training Coordinator
